My mum always had a solution for every situation.
“A Good Cup of Tea Will Fix It!”, she would say.
No matter what the problem was - if I fell over and hurt my knee. If I had a bad head from a big night out. If I had an argument with a friend. It was always the same - “A Good Cup of Tea Will Fix It!”, she would say.

Antioxidants Include Loose Leaf Tea
Friday, December 7th, 2007Antioxidants - Foods High In Antioxidants Include Loose Leaf Tea. By Connie Bednar
We know that antioxidants fight the oxidative damage done to our body cells by free radicals. This is all very scientific. Not being a scientist, I can not go into great detail to explain how our bodies come to have free radicals. I can tell you that in most cases they are not good for our bodies.
You may understand this as an example, smoking causes free radicals in our bodies. We know that smoking can lead to lung cancer and heart disease. (in the case of smoking, just say no to smoking)
To protect ourselves it is a good idea to find something that can fight the free radicals in our bodies. Enter antioxidants, they can prevent free radical damage and even sometimes reverse damage done by them. Some researchers have found that drinking green tea may help reverse some, but definitely not all damage done by smoking. (more…)

Benefits of Drinking Tea
Monday, December 3rd, 2007
“If man has no tea in him, he is incapable of understanding truth and beauty”, so goes a Japanese proverb.
Hot or cold, green or black, this ancient beverage is steeped in health benefits.
Quick facts on Tea:
* Tea is considered the world’s most popular beverage, after water.
* All three conventional teas ― green, black and oolong ― come from the same plant (Camellia sinensis), but their chemical content and flavors are different because they’re processed differently. Green tea leaves are steamed before they’re dried, which prevents the breakdown of catechins and preserves their green color. Black tea is made by allowing the leaves to oxidize and ferment, which darkens them and converts some of the catechins into other compounds. Oolong tea is only partially fermented. Good water will make a world of difference in the taste of your tea. After all, even the finest of tea varieties will taste humdrum when prepared with poor water and this does not add to the flavour of your tea. As a healthy, and great-tasting alternative, we recommend 100% pure spring water.
No Additives, Preservatives, Artificial Flavors or Colors are used in fruits used by Australian Fruit Tea Company. Every effort is made to use organic fruits when available. Best quality Ceylon tea is grown without the use of pesticides or herbicides and are radiation free.
