Types of Tea Used at Australian Fruit Tea Company
At Australian Fruit Tea Company, we use.
* Black tea grown bordering Sri Lanka’s largest rain forest called ‘Singharaja”.
* All tea gardens here are free of any blitzes etc which affect the tea bush and therefore pesticides or herbicides are not used.
* Dry leaf - Black, hard [not soft], well twisted.
* Infusion - Bright coppery denoting excellent quality.
* Liquor - Bright red with yellowish tint. Fuller all round cup with a distinctive “gold ring” characteristic of top quality Ceylon tea.
* Natural flavors - Australian Fruit Tea Company will not use natural flavors that contain propylene glycol or triacetine.
